The 2025 TD1 form lets us (and your employer) know how much income tax to deduct from your paycheques.
While most employees will have the default level of taxes deducted, you may have unique situations that may allow a reduced level of taxation.
Please note the following:
- The 2025 TD1 forms are available in both form and paper formats. The preferred form method allows you to enter the requested information using your smartphone, tablet, computer or notebook and then print the completed document. In contrast, the paper format must be printed and finished by hand using a dark black or blue pen. Please use the form method to eliminate rejected forms due to CDNPayroll.com's illegible contents.
- Partially completed, un-signed, or non-dated TD1 documents will not be accepted for processing by CDNPayroll.com.
- Please complete the Federal and, if applicable, the Provincial or Territorial TD1 form.
- Once you have completed the T1 form(s), please return them to your employer, who will forward this information to our office for processing.
- Please note that submission of TD1 documents has at least three business days for processing times between the payroll end period and the corresponding paycheque issue timeframe (whichever is greater).
- If you need help preparing the TD1 form(s), please contact your employer, who will request assistance from our support department.
Use this preferred form method which will allow you to complete the 2025 TD1 form(s) online using your smartphone, tablet, computer or notebook. Be sure to save the form to your device, prior to submitting to our office or to your employer (whom will then submit it to our office).
We suggest you first prepare the worksheet¹ form first, as this will ensure the most accurate submission of your TD1. Then continue with the preparation of the TD1.

Submit Completed TD1 Forms
As the TD1 form contains confidential information, it is suggested that in order to maintain privacy, we recommend that you submit your Federal and Provincial TD1 forms to our office directly.
Once you have completed both the Federal and Provincial TD1 forms, you will need to otain your Employer's Code.
Note that you will required to complete the following:
- One both the Federal and Provincial TD1, Please make sure you complete all required fields.
- When you select the following button to send your files you will be asked for your Employer's Code. Please contact your employer for this code.
Please note that incomplete TD1 forms or incorrect Employee Code will not be processed.
